Information about using Playroom on web and mobile.
Playroom uses Firebase to authenticate accounts and save practice history. Account information may include your email address and the identity supplied by your chosen sign-in provider. Practice records include lesson identifiers, versions, completion, accuracy, practice duration, dates, and time zone. Signed-in practice history is shared between the web app and mobile app for the same account.
Guest practice, cached lessons, preferences, and pending sync changes are stored on your device. Guest progress is imported into an account only when you choose to import it. Device storage may be accessible to someone who can access your device or browser profile.
Apple processes iOS purchases. RevenueCat manages purchase validation and Premium access, using a generated purchase identifier or your Firebase account identifier when you sign in. Playroom does not receive your full payment card details. Restore Purchases may transfer access according to the purchase account and RevenueCat restore settings.
Usage analytics are optional. If enabled, Firebase Analytics receives screen and interaction events, such as lesson identifiers and instrument choices. Feedback text and email addresses are not included in these events. You can change analytics collection in Settings. Practice reminders are scheduled locally on your device after you enable them.
You can use free features without creating an account, reset guest progress, disable reminders or analytics, and delete your account and synced practice history from the mobile app. Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Purchase records may be retained by Apple or RevenueCat for billing, restoration, and applicable recordkeeping requirements.
